Thought for the Day - Friday 25 December

Message from Rev Caryl Kyle Minister: Holytown l/w Wrangholm Parish Churches Advent Angel on the Shelf – Friday 25th December ‘In the beginning the Word already existed; the Word was with God, and the Word was God. From the very beginning the Word was with God. Through him God made all things; not one thing in all creation was made without him. The Word was the source of life, and this life brought light to people. The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has never put it out.’ (John 1: 1-5)   Action:   Today is a day for celebrating. Have fun celebrating whether that be with family and friends or on your own.   Make sure your angel, who has been your companion on this journey, doesn't miss out on the fun!   Pray:   Loving Lord, in adoration of you we come and kneel before you, asking that you would turn our faces ever toward you, for the sake of peace, for the sake of mercy, for the sake of all that is holy. As you bring light to our world, may we go and radiate your light to the world around us, shining your light into all the dark places of our world. We ask this in your name.
