1 John 2:21-23

I do not write to you because you do not know the truth, but because you do know it and because no lie comes from the truth. Who is the liar? It is whoever denies that Jesus is the Christ.

Judges 16:22

Thought for Wednesday 13 November 2024

Judges 16:22

But the hair on his head began to grow again after it had been shaved.

We do have to fall. His eye is on the smallest bird, he knows the amount of hairs on our head. What we need to do is open our hearts and make Him Lord of our spirits, Lord of our minds and Lord of our bodies. Let the Unlimited God be the God who is able to do all things needed in your life and family.                                                                                                          (Tony Abram)

John 14:25-27

Jesus said: ‘I am telling you these things now while I am still with you.  But when the Father sends the Counselor as my representative _ and by the Counselor I mean the Holy Spirit – he will teach you everything and will remind you of everything I myself have told you.

1 Peter 1:4-6

For God has reserved a priceless inheritance for his children.  It is kept in heaven for you, pure and undefiled, beyond the reach of change and decay.  And God, in his mighty power, will protect you until you receive this salvation, because you are trusting him.

Joshua 24:15

But if you refuse to serve the Lord, then choose today whom you will serve. Would you prefer the gods your ancestors served beyond the Euphrates? Or will it be the gods of the Amorites in whose land you now live? But as for me and my family, we will serve the Lord.”
